Em paralelo com a Rota das Linhas Porto / Aside from the Yarn Crawl Porto

Eu adoro o Porto, eu sempre adorei o Porto!

Acho que é uma cidade linda, cheia de carisma e tem tantos cantos e recantos cheios de beleza!

Havia 8 anos que não ia ao Porto, e já tinha saudades.

Foi tão bom rever esta cidade, que me deixou agradavelmente surpreendida pela diferença que notei em relação à última vez que lá estive. Há prédios totalmente renovados, tendo havido o cuidado de manter a traça arquitectónica, preservando assim a beleza da cidade que sempre me atraiu.

Mas desta feita havia algo mais, havia murais de arte urbana espalhados um pouco pela cidade, e só posso dizer que é uma combinação fantástica, onde a parte "velha" da traça arquitectónica se conjuga com a modernidade, mostrando como dois estilos (até mais) podem conviver em perfeita harmonia e contribuir para tornar o Porto ainda mais uma cidade linda!

Aqui vos deixo o meu olhar sobre a arte urbana que encontrei no encontro da Rota das Linhas, porque afinal de contas, não "fui à aldeia só para ver as casas..."

Achei fantástica a ideia de embelezar as tão sensaboronas caixas de electricidade, na rua das Flores!

I love Porto, I have always loved Porto! 

I think it is a beautiful city, very charismatic and loaded with little spots and corners of tremendous beauty!

I hadn't been in Porto for about 8 years, and I missed it.

It was so good to revisit the city, and I was pleasantly surprised at the difference from last time I was there. There are buildings who were completely renovated, but it shows the effort it was made to keep the original architectural design, maintainning the beauty of the city that has always fascinated me.

But this time there was something else, there were beautiful street art walls and the only thing I can state is that it is a fantastic combination, the old architectural design combined with modernity, showing that two different styles (even more) can live in perfect harmony and help contribute to make Porto an even more beautiful city!

Here you have my take on the street art I discovered while I was at the Yarn Crawl, because after all, (and like we say here in Portugal) I didn't just go to "the village to look at the houses..."

The second collage you see above is a great idea, they had to cover up the very boring electric boxes in Rua das Flores.
